Does Your Child Meltdown, Withdraw, or Stop Paying Attention? Could it be Sensory Issues?

Sensory issues can take many different forms in children.

For some children, sensory issues can cause meltdowns. In other children, it

will cause the child to withdraw from social encounters or groups.  Some

children's attention issues are caused by Sensory Issues and not ADHD.

Come to this interactive presentation by Paula Michaud, OTR/L, Cuyahoga

County Board of Developmental Disabilities, to learn if your child could have

sensory issues and how you can help him or her.

This Parent Discussion Group is applicable to both preschool and

school-age children.  This is the perfect

presentation to bring grandparents or other care givers to who may need to

understand about sensory processing to help care for your child.
