Winter Storm Makes Commutes Slow

Be sure to give yourself some extra time this morning.

Winter was back in full force Friday morning with blustery winds and snow. The accumulation overnight made roads rough this morning, and the going was slow.

At about 7 a.m., Interstate East was traveling at about 10 miles per hour.

And doesn't show signs of stopping. A winter storm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service through 4 p.m. tomorrow. We could see 3 to 5 inches of snow on the ground before the end of the storm, says the warning.
