Westlake in Bloom Winners Named

Who has the best gardens in town? Find out here!

Westlake has lots of beautiful gardens and landscapes.

The best of them have been honored as this year's Westlake in Bloom winners.

First-place winners include Inge Moorman (vegetable garden); Robert and Michelle Walsh (shade garden); Al and Jean Sabo (residential landscaping, small yard); Richard and Marilynn Breudigam (residential landscaping, large yard); Kris and Bob Zanotti (patio garden, single-family home);  (best nursing home/assisted living); Constructability, Inc. (best Hilliard Blvd. flower box); the Eberling family (greatest visual impact, Evergreen Cemetery fence boxes); (best church); Cleveland Door Controls, Inc., Debbie Meuser (best business); and Crossings Village (best apartment or condominium complex).

Terence Poje not only won for residential landscaping in a medium yard, he won the Lu Walter Best in Bloom award.

New categories added this year are for front yards only, back yards only, and rain gardens. There were no winners for rain gardens.

I think Enterprise was going to move there, since BMW is moving to where Enterprise is.

What about center ridge and clague (currently an old gas station)?

No, it is kitty-corner to the existing gas station & is new construction
