Westlake Hosts Area's Second Annual “Big Kid Resale" on March 16

Clothes, toys and gear at the 2013 Big Kids ReSale

For years, savvy parents have purchased baby items, children’s clothes, and toys at area resale events – saving money and helping to repurpose these things that have been barely played with or worn.

After a very successful trial run in 2012, Westlake’s Holly Lane Elementary School PTA is organizing its second annual Big Kid ReSale. This sale will include clothing sizes 5T to Juniors as well as toys and gear more appropriate for the older set, rather than for toddlers.

Westlake’s Big Kid ReSale is Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 8 a.m. to noon at Westlake High School, 27830 Hilliard Road in Westlake. The sale will feature goods from more than 80 vendors, including sports equipment, toys, games, books, music equipment, computer stuff, furniture, and shoes as well as clothing.

Admission is $5 for the early-bird preview from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and $1 for entrance from 9 a.m. to Noon. Cash sales only. Please, no bills larger than $20. Small bills appreciated at the door.

If you are interested in selling, spaces are $20, and vendors are welcome from all communities. Registration forms are available online here or via www.wlake.org (click on the "Parents" tab at the top of the page and then click Holly Lane at the left side).
