The Power is Back on in Westlake

Share your stories from the power outage in the comments.

About a week after the storms caused by Hurricane Sandy took out the power for thousands in Westlake, things are back to normal.

As of 3:50 p.m. on Monday, just five customers were left without power in Westlake, according to FirstEnergy. All of the outages were expected to be fixed by the end of the day on Monday.

What was your experience like in the days after the storm? If you lost power, did you reach out to any local businesses or organizations for help? Do you know of anyone in the area who volunteered to help those locally or on the East Coast? Share your stories in the comments below.

I think Enterprise was going to move there, since BMW is moving to where Enterprise is.
