Snow On The Way Friday Afternoon, Commute Could Be Slow

Forecasters predict poor visibility and 4 to 6 inches of snow.

Here's a good excuse to cut out of work early this afternoon: the snow should be back right around quitting time.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 5 p.m. tonight through 9 a.m. Saturday.

Visibility will be poor this evening, less than a quarter mile at times, says the weather service, and roads will be slick this evening and during the night.
