Westlake City Schools Are Closed
Kids get the day off of school today in honor of the holiday. Westlake High School students get an extra-long weekend with parent conferences scheduled for Tuesday.

Since there's no school today, the Westlake Recreation Center is hosting a beach party from 12:30 to 3 p.m. There will be music, games, prizes and more. Cost is $3 for members, $6 for residents, and $9 for non-residents.

City Hall is closed today in honor of the holiday, but garbage and recycling collection will remain on schedule.
Interactive Peter Pan Production
Westlake Porter Public Library is hosting the Musical Theater Project for an interactive production of Peter Pan. Kids grades in first grade and up, and their guardians, will both be involved in presenting selected scenes from the show. Call the Youth Services Department at 440-250-5471 to register for this program. Space is limited to 40 participants total.
