Flood Watch on for Cuyahoga County

The National Weather Service forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms through Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service is issuing a flood watch for Cuyahoga County through Wednesday night.

Experts are expecting several periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Combined with the saturated ground from all of the recent rain, there could be flooding. Forecasts predict 3 to 4 inches of rain in the area between now and Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service is telling anyone in a flood watch area to monitor the forecasts and look for flood warnings, especially those in flood-prone areas.
