A free concert, storytime and more!

1) T the eighth annual Westlake In Bloom competition! The deadline for the gardening contest has been extended to June 27, so don't wait.

2) If you're looking for something to do with the little ones, check out at . Miss Beth and Poe lead this class of stories, rhymes and silly dancing for children ages 2-3½ at 10:15 a.m. today. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Call 440-871-2600 to register.

3) The National Weather Service is predicting rain and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. today. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny with a high near 85 degrees. Tonight we might see more rain and thunderstorms after 11 p.m. with a low around 68 percent.

4) Barn artist Scott Hagan will be speaking at  from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight. Hagan painted 80 barns for the Ohio Bicentennial Commission and will talk about all he experienced. Call 440-871-2600 to register.

5) The Alleluia Singers are performing a free concert at Bay United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. tonight. The choir, from Towson, Maryland will perform 'God's Apps,' a program exploring the opportunities for dealing with life's troubles, and bringing God into the mix.
