Cleveland Museum of Art treasure hunts, rummage sales, good weather, library adventures and cyclones await you and the family this weekend.
1) The weekend has arrived, the weather has improved and the Cleveland Museum of Art may have just the right event to mix up your family routine. On every Wednesday and Friday, CMA hosts a treasure hunt for children and parents who are in search of a little adventure and a good deal of history. Simply grab a treasure map from the lobby information desk, explore the museum and follow the clues. General admission is free, and this enriching event runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
2) All’s clearance on the western front as Avon United Methodist Church holds its Spring Rummage Sale today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Decorative and household goods, clothing, toys, tools and various items will be up for sale as well as refreshments, homemade soups, sandwiches and baked goods.
