Picc-A-Deli Café at the Library Closing

The Picc-A-Deli at Porter Café is closing as of Feb. 1, according to a message posted on the Westlake Porter Public Library’s website. 

The café is located inside the library and offers coffee, pastries and lunch items. Picc-A-Deli also has a main location at 25022 Center Ridge Road, but that business’ future is not clear. The library’s message says that the main business will be closing, too, but the West Shore Sun reports that the location will remain open for the time being. There is no information on Picc-A-Deli’s website, and the owners could not be reached on Thursday afternoon.

The library board will choose another use for the space currently occupied by the café. This could include finding another vendor, according to the library's message.
