Michael Symon's B Spot Opening Wednesday at Crocker Park

The Iron Chef himself will be on hand to welcome his newest beer, burgers and brats joint.

Michael Symon’s much-anticipated B Spot restaurant will open at 11 a.m. tomorrow, with the Iron Chef himself making a special appearance.

Symon has incorporated all kinds of B-foods into the menu from handcrafted beers to brats, bologna and big salads. The main attraction, though, is Symon’s gourmet burgers like the “Symon Says,” topped with bologna, coleslaw, whip sauce and American cheese.

“The excitement level on the street of people walking by and asking questions is very high,” said Sam Lindsley, director of operations for Michael Symon Restaurants. “We believe this is a very good location for us for now and 10 years from now and moving forward from there.”

“Those locations are doing extremely well,” Lindsley said, adding that Crocker Park was another ideal home for B Spot.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be at Crocker Park here in Westlake,” he said. “We’re thrilled with the space. We’re delighted with the way the design and the layout of the restaurant turned out.”

The newest restaurant will have patio seating, booths and a bar where .

Menu prices are very reasonable, ranging from $5 to $12, but don’t confuse it for fast food.

“This is definitely not fast food,” Lindsley said. “The quality of ingredients is very, very high.”

And Symon is looking to expand the chain even more in the future. Lindsley said there were “exciting conversations going on,” but could not name the next B Spot location.

The Crocker Park B Spot will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Tables are seated on a first-come, first-served basis as the restaurant does not take reservations.
