Menchie's Frozen Yogurt Plans Store at Crocker Park

The self-serve fro-yo store offers lots of mix-ins and charges by weight.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is making plans to open a store at . Developers have submitted design plans, which the city Planning Commission has recommended for City Council approval.

The national chain is looking at a spot on Main Street, right between and Michael Symon's newest restaurant. The storefront is currently occupied by .

The store offers more than 100 rotating flavors of frozen yogurt and more than 70 toppings, which also get switched out on a regular basis. Customers can mix flavors like cake batter and pomegranate tart with toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, candies, hot fudges and caramels.

One of their other unique trademarks is the free stickers and balloons they give out to kids at the store.

The chain, brought to the state by Stark Enterprises, developer and manager of Crocker Park, expects to open about 30 stores in Northeast Ohio over the next three years.
