Hot Mama to open at Crocker Park Wednesday

Newest store's grand opening featuring sales and gift card giveaways

Crocker Park’s newest resident, Hot Mama, is set to open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

The store will continue with the celebration all week offering 10 percent off the entire store’s stock through April 14. The store is also giving away Hot Mama gift cards to the first 50 customers each day (Wednesday through Sunday).

The store is located at 25 Main St. in Crocker Park. The company, headquartered in Edina, Minn., announced last fall it would open the first  Hot Mama boutique in Cleveland in Westlake. They initially expected to open in March.

"We go where the moms are," said Hot Mama founder Megan Tamte last fall. "We want to be in the neighborhoods where moms hang out. That's why we are going to be at Crocker Park."

Jennifer Mahlik, the company's marketing director said the store was designed with visiting dads and kids in mind.

"From animal crackers and toys for the kiddos to a comfy seating area for dad, every store is designed with a mom’s lifestyle in mind," Mahlik said. "Our stylists are extensively trained on fitting all body types and truly love building relationships with every customer. Whether you have five minutes or a few hours to shop, we will help you find product that makes you feel as beautiful as you look."

The Crocker Park location was not chosen haphazardly.

"After a thorough study, we are convinced our customer lives, works and shops around Crocker Park. We are thrilled to join the Westlake community and meet Cleveland area moms." Mahlik said.

The Westlake store is part of Hot Mama's latest expansion. Hot Mama was planning to add 12 new stores to its current 30 stores in 11 states by the end of 2013.
