Historical Marker Dedication, Storytime and More

Here are five things you should know today.

1) The Westlake Historical Society and city officials will be joined by the Ohio Historical Society for a historic marker dedication at at 6 p.m. tonight. A plaque will be dedicated to Leverett Johnson, one of Westlake's original settlers and donor of the cemetery land. If you want to find out more about the founding families buried there,

5) On this day in 1916, the first tank was used in combat. The British forces tried out the new technology at the Battle of Flers-Courcelette in World War I.
