Dick Goddard to Share Stories at Borders

The longtime TV weatherman will talk about, sign his new book.

Longtime weatherman Dick Goddard will be at Borders Books & Music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to share stories from his new book, Six Inches of Partly Cloudy.

Goddard, 80, has the longest career as a TV weatherman in history, and holds the oldest active seal of certification from the American Meteorological Society. He has also worked as a radio forecaster, newspaper weather columnist, almanac writer and columnist.

The new book is a collection of Goddard’s stories, cartoons, fun facts and essays on a myriad of topics ranging from the weather to pets to the TV industry.

Six Inches of Party Cloudy will be available for sale and Goddard will be on hand to sign each copy. Goddard’s proceeds will be donated to local animal charities.
