Bradley Beverage Store has hit the reset button.

The store, a longtime fixture at the corner of Center Ridge Road and Bradley Road in Westlake, was taken over by new owner John Kash about a year ago and he’s making changes.

Kash, a craft beer and boutique wine aficionado, has been introducing a variety of new beers and wines to the store.

He believes part of the surge in popularity for craft beer is that they’re American.

“None of the big distributors make them,” he said, noting that many of the big beer makers and now owned by foreign companies. “People are figuring that out.”

Craft beer lovers will note a nice variety from around the United States as well as Ohio, including Cleveland’s Indigo Imp and Great Lakes, Ommegang, Hopping Frog, Moloko Milk Stout, Southern Tier and the hard-to-find Three Floyd’s Brewery. He also stocks larger brewery offerings including Budweiser, Miller, etc.

Kash is expanding his selection of boutique wines. On this particular day, a $72 bottle of Papillon wine adorns a shelf.

Kash also keeps a walk in cooler. He is offering 10 percent off cases of wine.
