Cleveland Brown Ernie Green Among Breast Cancer Survivors

Ernie Green, a Browns legend who played alongside Hall of Famer Jim Brown, was diagnosed in 2005.

In the spirit of 'men can get breast cancer too,' we wanted to share the story of a Cleveland legend who survived breast cancer.

When he played for the Browns from 1962-1968 as a fullback alongside Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown, Ernie Green lived in Shaker Heights, according to The Plain Dealer.

Green watched his two sisters survive the disease before he was diagnosed himself in 2005. He was treated at University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
