To the West, To the West: Duct Tape Festival This Weekend

The tenth annual Avon Heritage Duct Tape Festival kicks off  on Friday, June 14 and continues through Father's Day weekend. The festival will be an all-weekend event starting Friday at 4  p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park in Avon.

This three-day event celebrates duct tape, its enthusiasts and its wacky and fun uses. The festival also honors the history and heritage of the city that is proclaimed the “Duct Tape Capital” of the world—Avon, Ohio—the home of Duck Tape® brand duct tape.

From sculptures and fashion to games and a parade, everything at the festival revolves around duct tape and the wonderful city of Avon.

Festival-goers are challenged to break out their best Duck Tape® flair — from hats to purses to dresses and ties — for an opportunity to strut their creations on the catwalk to win tickets to the a suite for the Justin Bieber concert in Cleveland on July 13. See Official Contest Rules
