Tuesday, Sept. 3 (10 a.m.-Noon) Career Transition Center: Applications That Get Noticed—Job applications are not fun to do and they aren’t much fun to read either. These days most of them are done online so employers don’t have to read all of them. A computer scans applications, looking for keywords for the skills, education, or experience that is most important to the employer. It also scans for keywords that may be used to screen candidates out. Learn how to tackle questions on an application to be sure yours will be read.
