Clague Playhouse Gears up for 86th Season with Porter Display

The newly decorated window inside the Porter Public Library is a little slice of history.

The photo was taken by Dave Pfister after he and his wife, Lysa Stanton, the president of the Westlake Historical Society, finished decorating it..

“Lysa and I did the inside display window at Porter Public Library,” Pfister said. “On display is an old light fixture from the Clague Playhouse theater stage, as well as historical pictures and literature from the playhouse past.”

The display is par for the course for Stanton and Pfister who were named "Mr. and Mrs. Westlake" in 2012.

The couple, who are leaders in the Westlake Historical Society, were named the new Mr. and Mrs. Westlake by the Westlake Town Criers and were honored at last year's tree lighting.
