'Gulf View Drive' Opens at Clague Playhouse

Play is finale of Arlene Hutton's Nibroc Trilogy

Gulf View Drive, the third play in the Nibroc trilogy by Arlene Hutton, opens Friday, Jan. 11, at Clague Playhouse.

Show times are 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays, through Feb. 3.

Gulf View Drive takes place after the events of Last Train to Nibroc and See Rock City. The first two plays covered the meeting, falling in love and marriage of two Kentuckians, May and Raleigh, in the World War II era. Now, it's 1953, and May and Raleigh have moved to Florida. They have to deal with everything from segregation to their mothers-in-law and other family to their own faults and foibles.
