Great Escape: Get Your Laugh On This Weekend

What's better than vittles and belly laughs? Nothin'!

It might just be the perfect combination: a delicious dinner at the Cleveland Improv followed by hearty belly laughs so plentiful that you'll get a killer workout for your abs. It's a win-win!

The recently relocated Cleveland Improvisation Club, which now calls the Sugar Warehouse Entertainment Complex home, invites you for yummy grub and giggles with comedian Alex Reymundo of the Showtime Comedy Network. Ron "Tater Salad" White of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour will also perform. The famous witty southerner is well-known for his "you can't cure stupid" bit.

Eight shows are available between Thursday and Sunday. The early show takes place at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. on Sunday) and the late show takes place at 10:15 (Friday and Saturday only). Dinner is only available during the early shows.

The Improv is well-known for its delicious fare which is served alongside all of the calorie-free laughs you can manage. From light appetizers to full entrees, there is something from all price points and all palates.

Dinner entrees are served before the show (between 6 and 7 p.m.), and include tempting items such as chicken marsala, New York strip steak, grilled salmon, fish-n-chips, pasta alfredo and pasta marinara.

French fries, coconut shrimp, chicken fingers, quesadillas, potato skins and chicken wings in a variety of sauces are available for snacking during the show.

Sandwiches like the southwest chicken panini and  half-pound bacon cheeseburger, as well as a variety of pizzas like the Italian (salami and pepperoni) and BBQ chicken, are also available throughout the show.

Save room for a slice of decadent cheesecake when your finished.

Soft drinks and your favorite beers and cocktails are also available, of course.
