"Boots for Christmas" Donations Sought
Many local homeless men walk through cold rain, ice and snow all winter wearing only ragged canvas shoes. Boots for these men are urgently needed.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake is sponsoring a project to supply boots for the men at 2100 Lakeside, a homeless men’s shelter, operated by Lutheran Metropolitan
Ministries in Cleveland.
Donations of sturdy, water-resistant boots in all sizes (new or gently used) are welcome. Boot donations may be dropped at Prince of Peace Church, 28455 Center Ridge, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays,
November 15 through December 15.
