1) Thousands of as temperatures creeped into the low 90s. The Greater Cleveland area had about 20,000 residents without electricity, but Westlake was lucky enough to be spared an afternoon without the AC.

2) Speaking of heat, the Midwest heat wave continues today with the high reaching 87 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

3) Westlake's own Michael McCaffrey shot an impressive 47 on nine holes at the Northern Ohio PGA Junior Golf Pups Tour at Old Pine Golf Course. He didn't qualify for the next round, but it's still impressive!
