DESCRIPTION:The city of Westlake has scheduled its summer concerts offeri
 ng a wide variety of family entertainment including award-winning perfor
 mers every Sunday evening now through August 12. The free concerts are s
 taged at the Westlake Recreation Center&rsquo\;s pavilion. There is plen
 ty of parking available and patrons should bring a lawn chair or blanket
  to enjoy a Sunday summer evening of music.\nHere's the schedule of conc
 erts:\nJuly 8: Haywire.&nbsp\;This Rockabilly/Roots Rock band has a fres
 h\, fun and smoothly rocking style. Haywire has a sound all its own but 
 with a little Buddy Holly\, Carl Perkins\, Duane Eddy and Johnny Cash. S
 ome of the music may be their own creations and has even been compared t
 o what Elvis Presley might have recorded.\nJuly 15: Logan Wells and Jere
 my Colosimo.&nbsp\;Logan has performed professionally for over 18 years 
 and has shared the stage with many great artists. Logan headlined at the
  Las Vegas Hilton main showroom and later at Mandalay Bay during the CMA
  awards in 2004. She performed in Westlake for President George W. Bush&
 rsquo\;s campaign and later for First Lady Laura Bush. Jerry has been en
 tertaining audiences in the Northern Ohio area for over 20 years with a 
 wide range of genres. Musical styles include Frank Sinatra\, PatsyCline\
 , Neil Diamond\, Stevie Nicks\, The Temptations\, Aretha Franklin\, Kare
 n Carpenter and many others.\nJuly 22: Sloppy Joe Band.&nbsp\;This Cleve
 land band performs a wide selection of great Classic Rock\, Pop and Blue
 s from the 60&rsquo\;s\, 70&rsquo\;s and 80&rsquo\;s. Sloppy by NO means
 \, this band covers everything from the Allman Brothers to ZZTop. Sloppy
  Joe is a fun band who plays great music from great artists.\nJuly 29: B
 lue Lunch.&nbsp\;Cleveland&rsquo\;s own Blue Lunch Swing Dance Band deli
 vers their own sound with an eclectic flavor\, playing 1950&rsquo\;s swi
 ng and jump blues\, along with Chicago-Style blues and New Orleans R&amp
 \;B. Blue Lunch has performed at the Rock &amp\; Roll Hall of Fame and M
 useum\, at Severance Hall and the OhioState Fair. They have opened shows
  for The Beach Boys\, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and many other artists.\nAugu
 st 5: Mo' Mojo.&nbsp\;This band specializes in live shows that kick. The
 y take the best of Zydeco and the best of theJam Band spirit. What is Zy
 deco music? It&rsquo\;s good old foot-stompin&rsquo\; dance music that o
 riginatedin the French-speaking Creole culture of southern Louisiana\, f
 eaturing a unique blend of musicalinfluences from blues and soul\, Afro-
 Caribbean\, and traditional Cajun music. Mo&rsquo\; Mojo combines French
 -style accordion\, driving danceable drum beats\, rock solid bass guitar
 \, blazing electric guitar\,and of course the entertaining rubboard\, or
  frottoir (as it&rsquo\;s called by the Cajuns) to create the recipefor 
 &ldquo\;Music You Just Can&rsquo\;t Take Sittin&rsquo\; Down.&rdquo\;\nA
 ugust 12: Colin Dussault's Blues Project.&nbsp\;The Project can best be 
 described as an award-winning harmonica driven\, blues based\, roots\, r
 ock and soul music. The Project can include original music as well as bl
 ues\, rock\, country\, jazz\, swing\,folk\, reggae\, Motown and even the
  occasional polka. Lead singer\, Colin Dussault&rsquo\;s Blues Project h
 as played literally thousands of shows. One reviewer called Colin &ldquo
 \;the hardest working blues manin Cleveland.&rdquo\; The Project has sha
 red the stage with such luminaries as Bo Diddley\, The FabulousThunderbi
 rds\, Blood Sweat &amp\; Tears\, Eric Burdon and many more. They have pl
 ayed every venue including a fund raiser for First Lady Hillary Rodham C
 linton.
