Begin the Lenten Journey with Meager Meals

Come to Meager Meals to make the Lenten Season more meaningful.  Meager Meals of  soup, bread, and water will be served every Wednesday in Lent  from 6-7 p.m. starting Feb. 13, 2013, at Rockport United Methodist Church, 3301 Wooster Rd., Rocky River. Lenten devotions will follow.  The meal is open to all in the community at no cost as a Lenten fellowship event. No reservations are needed.  After the meal on Feb. 13, there will be an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. to begin the Lenten journey.  The meal before Easter will be Maundy Thursday, March 28, with a service to follow.  Call the church office at 440-331-9433 for more information.
