There will be a Craft Fair at the Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve, on Friday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will be held in the campus Village Square, and will feature over 20 tables of handicrafts. Items for sale will include: jewelry (earrings, pins), Christmas items, wood working, purses, wall hangings, table runners, aprons, scarves, ceramics, holiday centerpieces, homemade cards, and items made by Assisted Living residents. Homemade baked goods will include pumpkin rolls and nut rolls made with love! The Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve is located at 2116 Dover Center Road, in Westlake. The Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve is a non-profit organization which operates a health center and an assisted living residence for senior citizens. The health center provides general medical care and rehabilitation services. The staff at the residence specialize in assisting seniors struggling with memory loss. Residents enjoy private suites, prepared meals, spiritual services, medication management, housekeeping, grooming and social activities such as birthday parties, annual dances, Concord Cinema, Happy Hour, art therapy, music therapy, the resident store, bingo, tai chi, van outings, entertainment, LENC pet visits, tea parties/picnics, bowling, holiday parties/events, baking activities, intergenerational programs, ceramics, International Club, the Jubilee Bell Choir and The Concordettes singing group, just to name a few. Also, Jeopardy games, craft shows, bake sales and an Adopt-a-Grandparent program are offered here.
