William K. Brashwitz, 80, Retired Teacher

Jenkins Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements

 

William "Bill" K. Brashwitz, 80, of Westlake died Aug. 30.

He was born Jan. 11, 1932, in Cleveland.

Brashwitz taught in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for 30 years, retiring from John Marshall High School in 1987.

Brashwitz is survived by his wife, Marilyn Joy (Ehrhardt); children Lynn Brashwitz (Mary) and Kaye McDermott (Michael); grandchildren Crystal (Dustyn), Aubrey and Kelsey; and great-grandson Isaac.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Jenkins Funeral Chapel. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life from 5:30 to 11 p.m Sept. 22 at Donauschwaben Center, 7370 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West Tech or John Marshall Alumni Associations.
