I know the charcoal purists will turn up their nose, but I've loved being able to come home and just fire up the grill without worrying about charcoal, or dealing with the ashes.

In addition to burgers and dogs, I've used the grill all sorts of ways, grilling vegetables, cedar-plank salmon, pizza and fruit.
