Happy Columbus Day!
It's a day off for some, but not all. Here's a rundown of what's open and closed for the holiday.
State and federal government offices will be closed. That includes the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections office is also closed, so there is no early voting or voter registration there on Monday.
Westlake City Hall will be open. Trash pick-up will be on a normal schedule.
The Post Office is closed and there is no mail delivery.
Banks are closed.
Sorry, kids. Westlake City Schools are open. Ditto for St. Bernadette School.
Westlake Porter Library will be closed for a staff training and development day. It will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
