All Westlake City Schools will be closed again on Thursday, Nov. 1, according to the district’s website. 

This is the third day in a row that the district has cancelled class because of power outages and other damage due to this week’s storms caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Wednesday afternoon, Superintendent Dan Keenan said he was hoping that class wouldn’t have to be cancelled again. He said the main issue was transportation, and that the district wanted to make sure students’ routes to school were safe.
