Westlake Schools Earn Highest Possible Grade on State Report Card
District earns "Excellent with Distinction," Meets AYP
Westlake Schools are once again “Excellent.”
For the 13th straight year, the District has earned an “Excellent” rating from the Ohio Department of Education. And for the second straight year, it has received the “with Distinction” honor, the highest rating a district can receive. The state finalized ratings after a statewide review.
The district also met the “value added” component of Adequate Yearly Progress requirements (AYP), which measures how effective the district is with certain subgroups.
To meet an indicator, the district must meet a minimal 75 percent.

The district had an all-grade attendance rate of 95.5 percent and a four-year graduation rate of 92.7.
