Westlake Police Reunite Lost Boy with Parents
Officers went door to door with Polaroids of the boy found on Detroit Road.
Officers reunited an 18-month-old boy with his parents Tuesday night after he was found wandering in Detroit Road near Bassett Road.
"He just kind of wandered off from his yard," said Lt. Brian Pasti. "We found him in front of another resident's home on Detroit."
Pasti said that someone found the boy and flagged down an officer driving by at about 8 p.m.
Police took the boy to the Westlake Police Station where they took Polaroids of him and went door to door in the area trying to find his parents.
The parents were already out looking for their son, and the three were reunited about an hour later, Pasti said.
