It's been a great start to Homecoming weekend in Westlake.

The fun got underway Friday with the Homecoming Parade from Lee Burneson Middle School to Westlake High School, featuring class floats, school teams and clubs, and school and community leaders.

From the parade, it was on to the football stadium, where fans got to see the Demons beat Olmsted Falls, 26-6, in the Homecoming Game.

Friday was also the night of the Westlake/Dover All Class Reunion at LaCentre. Alumni enjoyed an evening of getting together with old friends.

"I'd been hearing about it for a couple of months," said Dave Beattie, Class of 1975, who bought his ticket on Thursday. "I always try to go to my own class reunions, so I thought this would be fun."
