Veterans Get Some Special Treatment for Veterans Day

Westlake businesses are offering discounts and freebies to veterans

 

It's Veterans Day and lots of American businesses are showing their gratitude to American servicemen and women.

Here are some Westlake businesses saying "thanks" to veterans by offering discounts and free items and services. Bring your military IDs and/or veterans organization membership cards to get the deals.

Dining

Max & Erma's: On Nov. 11, veterans and active military members get a free tortilla soup or side Caesar salad, a cheeseburger and fries, and a fresh-baked chocolate-chip cookie.

Applebee's: Veterans and active military get a free signature entree on Nov. 11.

Champps Restaurant & Bar: Veterans and active military get a free cheeseburger and fries on Nov. 12.

Panera Bread: On Nov. 12, veterans and active military get a free Pick Two combo.

Outback Steakhouse: Veterans and active military get a free Bloomin' Onion and Coca-Cola product on Nov. 11 and 12. From Nov. 13-Dec. 31, veterans and active military get 10 percent off their entire check (not including alcohol, taxes or tips).

T.G.I. Friday's: Veterans and active military get a free lunch entree from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Shopping

Banana Republic: Military personnel, veterans and their families can get 50 percent off three full-priced items from Nov. 12-15.
