Tee'd Off Man Pees On Car

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Some people don't handle being told "no" very well.

Such was the case with a 24-year-old Avon Lake man when a clerk at a Detroit Road gas station told him he could not use the restroom shortly after 3 a.m. on Sept. 6.

In retaliation, the man went outside and urinated on the clerk's car. Avon Lake Police pulled him over a short time later, and he was city by Westlake Police for disorderly conduct.

How'd I Get Here?

Westlake Police were called when a 27-year-old Westlake man was found drunk and passed out on the couch in the lobby of a Sperry Drive hotel around 5:42 a.m. on Sept. 9.

The man told police he had been at a wedding and had no idea how he ended up at the hotel. He was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Thefts

Someone got into a Fall River Drive home through an unlocked door sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 and stole a laptop, Internet camera and digital camera. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $1,335. Westlake Police have no suspects.

A laptop was stolen from a Cahoon Road home on Sept. 5. The resident told police he suspects someone who visited the house earlier in the day. Police are investigating.

A 13-year-old boy had his $750 cellphone stolen from a gym locker at Lee Burneson Middle School sometime between 4 and 6:30 p.m.
