The Southwestern Conference Girls Tennis Championships, in which Westlake High School participates, has been postponed from Saturday to Monday due to weather.

The championships are being held at Medina High School. There will be a coaches meeting at 8:30 a.m. Monday, followed by warm-ups and the start of play.

Westlake High athletic director Tony Cipollone made the announcement Friday afternoon, saying that meet organizers had checked several weather forecasts before making the decision to postpone.

Rain is supposed to move into the area Friday night, with scattered showers forecast for Saturday.
