The 5K race starts at Saturday's St. Bernadette Bulldog Run.

After the sticky heat of the past few days, no one was complaining about clouds and sprinkles of rain at the start of Saturday's St. Bernadette Bulldog Run at St. Bernadette Parish.
More than 100 runners took part in the 1-mile run and 5K race that is a fundraiser for the parish's athletic program. The Bulldog Run is also part of the weekend's St. Bernadette Festival, which runs through Sunday.
Jack Kelly, 18, of Westlake was the top finisher in the the 5K in just under 17 minutes. Phil Zuccaro, 13, won the 1-mile run in 6 minutes, 10 seconds.
