Spiderman Antics and Drunks Keep Cops Busy

The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drinking led to some bad decisions for two men in Westlake recently.

A 28-year-old West Salem man was drunk at Dave & Busters, and punched an employee there, around 10:05 p.m. on June 23. An off-duty Westlake Police Department officer working security there restrained the man, who then threatened the employee while being led out to the police car. The man was charged with assault, disorderly conduct by intoxication, and menacing.

A 23-year-old Rocky River man partied a little too hardy and was found passed out on a couch in the lobby of the Holiday Inn around 3:07 a.m. on June 25. He had idea how he'd gotten there and refused to get a room. He was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Does whatever a spider can...

Lost keys? No problem for a Detroit Road resident, who climbed up and down to his apartment via a neighbor's balcony. The neighbor, however, was not pleased with it happening late at night and called Westlake police around 11:46 p.m. on June 21. The Peter Parker-wannabe was told to not do it again.
