It was an awesome weekend for Westlake High School sports teams.

The Demons boys and girls soccer teams both won their district titles on Saturday, and the football team beat Brecksville-Broadview Heights on Friday night to clinch the Southwestern Conference title and advance to the OHSAA playoffs.

The football team will host Mansfield-Madison at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Ticket information will be announced in the next few days.

The boys soccer team defeated Avon, 2-0, Saturday for the district title. The Demons will play Medina in its regional semifinal on Wednesday at Nordonia. Time and ticket information is to be announced.

The girls soccer team beat North Olmsted in the district final. It will face Medina in the regional semifinal at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky River. Ticket information is to be announced.
