Paul Wiedt, 90, of Westlake, died Nov. 7.
He was born Sept. 25, 1922, in Pittsburgh and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by children Tom, Dan (Marie), Bob (Mary), Jack (Sharon), Mark (Christie), Kathy Briggs (Jack), Jamie and Pat (Jeanne); twenty grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Virginia Soden and Dorothy Pettit (Edward); sister-in-law Geraldine Wiedt; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by wife Margaret Mary "Peg" (Kelly) Wiedt, brother John "Jack" Wiedt and brother-in-law Homer Soden.
Calling hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home. The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at St. Christopher Church, 20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River. Interment will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Avon.
