Neighbor's Call Leads to Arrest
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A woman's screams the morning of May 17 alerted a neighbor to trouble on Pineview Drive.
The neighbor called Westlake police around 11:42 a.m. When police arrived, they found a 38-year-old woman with a bump on her head. She was taken to St. John Medical Center. She told police her husband slammed her head into the family car.
The 43-year-old husband, who claimed the woman hit herself in the head with a shoe, was charged with domestic violence.
