Margaret I (Takacs) Zbin, 94, of Westlake, died Nov. 5.
She was born Dec. 3, 1917, in Cleveland to the late Zoltan and Margit Takacs. She graduated from West Tech High School and what is now Case Western Reserve University.
Zbin taught home economics and typing at Murray Hill High School. After she married Theodore Zbin, the couple lived briefly in Washington, D.C. She and her late husband were avid international travelers.
Zbin is survived by children Catherine A. Sautter (Robert), Ilona M. Owens (Thomas), and Susan M. Paroda (Donald); grandchildren Heidi Randazzo (Donald), Jennifer Murchie (John), Patrick Owens and Michelle Robinson; and great-grandchildren James, Katharine and John Randazzo.
Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Busch Funeral Home, 21369 Center Ridge Rd., Fairview Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church. Interment will follow at Lakewood Park Cemetery, 22025 Detroit Rd., Rocky River.
