Westlake has been filled with downed trees and wires because of the storms caused by Hurricane Sandy this week.

As of 11 a.m. on Thursday, about 1,700 customers are still without power in Westlake, according to FirstEnergy. The school district is closed for the third day in a row. If you need somewhere to go, the Westlake Porter Public Library is hosting day two of its impromptu movie marathon. According to its website, the library will be showing the “Shrek” movies today.
