LOOK: Good Weather Helps High School Construction
Interior painting could start next week
Outside of superstorm Sandy, the weather this fall has been pretty good.
Check out the slideshow for photos of inside the project.
"It's been great," Puffer said. "It hasn't been cold and the ground has stayed relatively dry so it's easy to get trucks and equipment around on-site."
There are parts of the project where the progress is striking. Last visit, the science wing was mostly just floor. Now, walls are going up. Stairways to the second floor are being installed. The masonry walls for the rotunda-style entry are going up. And parts of the athletics wing are being readied for painting.
Work remains on-target to be finished in time for the beginning of the 2013-14 school year, Puffer said.
