Locker Room Theft Leads to Shopping Spree
The following arrest information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Someone broke into locked lockers in the men's locker room at Bally's Total Fitness and stole credit cards sometime between 10 and 11:45 a.m. on May 17.
An Elyria man had two credit cards stolen, and the cards were used to make several purchases in Westlake and Avon for more than $3,000.
A Rocky River man had one credit card stolen, but his card was cancelled before any charges were made on it.
Westlake police are investigating.
