James K. Faile, 80, of Westlake, died Jan. 7.

He was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Cleveland.

Faile graduated from the Ohio Weslyan University in 1954 and spent most of his career in banking. He was an active member and Elder at Bay Presbyterian Church.

Faile is survived by children Jim (Chris), John (Tobi) and Karen Paterson (Dan); grandchildren Jamie (Colleen), Caroline, Jacob, Ellie, Luke, Corrie, Matt and Mark; and great-granchildren Alexis and Jack.

He was preceded in death by wife Dorothy Ann (Pleasance) Faile, and siblings Bob Faile and Annabel Kanastab.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Jenkins Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Bay Presbyterian Church,  25415 Lake Rd., Bay Village.
