On a warm summer evening, it can be hard to put on a good suit and tie or dress pumps.

But many did in the hopes of getting a job at Hyland Software, as the Westlake company hosted a career fair Wednesday evening.

The company is looking to fill more than 150 position as it grows. The jobs are in areas such as software development, technical support, solution consulting, information services, sales engineering, quality assurance and IT help desk.

More than 120 people had signed up in advance for the career fair, and walk-ins were also showing up.

Zach Milstead of Lakewood came to apply for a quality assurance job. He has friends who work for Hyland Software, and they told him it was a great place to work.

"Everyone was really friendly," Milstead said after interviewing. "What I liked was, the woman I talked with, she didn't just ask questions but encouraged me to ask questions."
