Hurricane Sandy on Lake Erie
Reports say that waves are as high as 20 feet on Lake Erie, and we saw waves today that certainly looked that high. The wind was so strong that the rain stung our skin, and many waves broke right over the rocks onto the bike path. Hurricane Sandy has pummeled the East Coast, and its massive impact has reached as far as Northeast Ohio.
The storm has brought high winds to the area, knocking out power to many and causing huge waves on Lake Erie.
